According to the arrangement of the university, on December 13, Sun Xiangguang, Standing Committee Member, Minister of Publicity Department and Curator of China Teachers Museum, made a special trip to Beijing to visit Gu Mingyuan, a famous educator, Honorary President of the Chinese Society of Education and Honorary Curatorof China Teachers Museum.

At Mr. Gu’s home, Sun Xiangguang conveyed to Mr. Gu the greetings of Xing Guang, Secretary of the Party Committee of the University, and Zhang Honghai, President of the School, extended his New Year’s Day wishes in advance, and briefly reported the latest situation of the museum’s exhibition and its improvement on teachers’ ethics education. Mr. Gu praised the museum’s work over a period of time, which has been very effective and has become more and more influential, and encouraged the museum to continue to dig deeper into the connotation of teachers and continuously improve the level of the museum.

Mr. Gu pays special attention to the establishment of the “educator’s study” in the museum, and donated the works that he has collected over the years, and carefully put a seal on them. These works will further enrich the collection of the “Educator’s Study” and provide more classics for teachers and students who come to the museum for research and study.

Knowing that the museum is developing and launching digital resources for teacher ethics education, Mr. Gu appreciatedit very much. Mr. Gu also recorded a video to talk about his understanding of the spirit of educators proposed by General Secretary, Xi Jinping, wrote educational motto by himself, and shared his understanding of teachers’ cultivation of excellent ethics.
